It was 1992 when the original Brothers Luv Dubs version of The Mighty Ming first illuminated dancefloors with huge support from everyone from Andy Weatherall to Sasha and Pete Tong to Carl Cox. It was one of those tunes that straddled genres and captured the hearts and minds of the original acid house generation.
18 years later Dave Seaman, co writer of the original with his then production partner Steve Anderson, has teamed up with one of 2010′s brightest young producers, Funkagenda to bring the revered classic back to life.
Released on Toolroom Records on July 21st, there are also two superb remixes from D Ramirez and Timothy Allan making up a release that is surely set to be one of the summer’s hottest. Make no mistake… Ming is back!
