Showcase Volume 2 Compilation (Part2) now out on Selador Recordings

selador showcase 2-2Hello again.

No sooner have you had to catch your breath from the delights of our Selador Showcase – Part 1 promo than we’re back with the accompanying Part 2. Yes, hot on the heels of last weeks objects of lust and desire, we bring you another bespoke capsule collection of electronic battle weapons especially designed for your delight and delectation.

This time around, leading from the front is label ambassador and all round top bloke, Robert Babicz who brings yet another slice of Babicz style goodness in the form of ‘Auralphase’. Layer upon layer of elegant melodies sitting atop a strong rhythmic backbone and just the right dose of acid, it’s business as usual from the big man, classy and emotive.

Andrea Arcangeli & Pakkio Sans bring us ‘We Oppose It’ next, a wonderful melodic gem that’s been heavily road tested by both Messrs Seaman & Parry over the last few months. The Italian duo are hot off the back of recent releases for the likes of Parquet and Smiley Fingers and this will only serve cement their burgeoning reputation. Get on board.

UK producer, Dom Kane follows with ‘Crisis Aborted’. Featuring cleverly programmed interwoven arp patterns astride a seductive groove, this has been an office favourite for sometime now and so we’re very happy to finally share it. A secret weapon if ever there was one.

New boy to the Selaldor family, Roland M Dill then brings some ‘Winter Splendor’ to proceedings in his own inimitable way. As long time fans of the German producer, we are so pleased to have him on board and this beautifully crafted piece of work certainly doesn’t disappoint. The devil’s in the detail.

And wrapping things up, Dimitri Nakov returns to Selador after his recent Dee Montero remix, this time collaborating with B-Vision on the exquisite ‘Vapour’. And whilst they may be the rearguard on this delicious two part compilation, rest assured they’re not just here to make up the numbers. Quite they contrary. They close things out in a complete blaze of glory.

So, five more deliciously tasty morsels to get your teeth into then. Don’t be shy. Tuck in! 😉

Dave Seaman & One Million Toys ‘Everything Comes In Threes’ Out Now

TULIPA066After what seems an eternity since it’s completion at the end of the summer last year, I’m very happy to say my collaboration with Israeli producer, Sagy Amir, aka One Million Toys, is now finally out on the fine St. Louis based imprint, Tulipa Recordings. Following on from my Holy Ghost release for the label last year, this picks up where that left off in funky deep house territory which has already caught the ear of Maceo Plex, Stacey Pullen and Danny Tenaglia amongst others. I’m also very pleased to say that stepping up to the plate on remixing duties this time are two of my favourite producers, Roland M. Dill and Arjun Vagale who offer completely different takes on the original in their own inimitable styles. Roland heads into dark throbbing techno territory for his fantastic interpretation whilst India’s rising star Arjun weighs in with a progressive techno epic quite unlike anything he’s done before. Expect the unexpected. All in all, I’m super happy with this one. Hope you enjoy it too.
