Out Now: Selador Showcase – The Magnificent Seventh

The inimitable Selador Showcase is back for it’s seventh instalment and returns fully stocked.

From Sweden to Argentina, Belgium to Belarus, Germany to the UK and the USA to Ukraine, we really have raided the musical larder to bring a fully international flavour to proceedings.

The banquet commences with Zoo Brazil at the top table offering up a veritable feast in the form of ‘Across My Heart’. As you’d expect from such a highly regarded producer with years of experience under his belt, the Swede brings an refined, assured presence to the menu. Bon appetite.

Our second dish sees Nico Morano take the baton with ‘Bratan’, a menacing chunk of melodic Tech house. Nico maybe a new name to many but the Belgian is proving himself to be quite a force in his native homeland and we reckon his reputation is set to spread like proverbial wildfire. Box fresh.

Next up we welcome back JOBE to the label straight off the back of his recent success alongside Acumen with ‘Uncontrollable’ on our 5th Birthday EP series. Once again he plunges head first into futuristic territory for a hyper cool intergalactic journey.

We turn our attention to Interaxxis next who make their Seladorian debut with ‘Morning Without Sun’. The Argentinian duo have been causing quite a stir recently with releases for the likes of Sudbeat and Hope and this classy piece of work will only add further value to their stock.

We then head to Los Angeles for a taste of West Coast action courtesy of Freddy Be & Savi Leon. An expertly crafted slice of sunshine house, ‘Whatcha Wanna Say’ takes it’s lead from Datar’s turn-of-the-millennium classic ‘B’ and melds it into something entirely befitting of a new generation. Hot!

Sixth in line and it’s Dmitry Molosh & Stas Drive’s turn to take centre stage with ‘Pleiades’, a modernistic progressive workout full of style and attitude that will make even the most hardened listener sit up and notice. Take heed.

And last but by no means least TH;EN takes us to the finishing line with energy to burn. The German plays ’Checkers’ to perfection capturing the very essence of our Showcase compilations… Extraordinary club music.

Seven of the best to get your teeth into… Seladorian style!
