Audio Therapy Releases JAY LUMEN Hungary has been something of a hot bed on the electronic music scene for quite a few years now and Jay Lumen (Csaba to his mother) is one it's finest exponents. With releases already under his belt for Lost Language and GU Music we are now proud to welcome Jay to the Audio Therapy family with what we consider to be his finest release to date. 'Heureka' in its original guise is a peak time relentless four to the floor monster of a track that never fails to deliver with those lucky enough to road test it so far and confirms that Jay is definitely a name to look out for. Dutch wonder duo DJ Remy & Roland Klinkenberg strip it back a bit creating a deeper vibe than the original backed up with an almighty bassline that just grooves its way from start to finish. We hope you like this package and look forward to hearing your feedback. Jay Lumen makes his debut on Audio Therapy with 'Heureka!' which includes a super hot remix from DJ Remy & Roland Klinkenberg. Oliver Moldan & Norman Zube Oliver Moldan is almost part of the furniture now at Audio Therapy. Since his 2005 debut 'Marraca$h ' he's had no less than 5 releases on the label not to mention several remixes for the likes of Phil K & Habersham's 'Cloudbrake' and more recently Erphun's '2wo Butterflies'. Fast forward to today and we're very pleased to unveil his latest creation which we happen to feel is one of his finest yet. Co- produced with Norman Zube who is himself undoubtedly a name to watch for the future, 'Requiem' is a track that relentlessly builds throughout its entire journey with menacing acid lines and beautifully layered strings.
Erphun (pronounced "Er-fun" as you didn't ask) means "the state of being on a higher spiritual level" in Farsi which pretty much sums up how Ali Zaree feels when he's making music. A native of Orange County, California, this is Ali's debut solo outing for Audio Therapy straight off the back of his well received remix of Dubfunk's 'Eternal Rhapsody' and somehow, we doubt it will be his last. Already championed by the likes of Steve Lawler, Sasha and of course, our very own, Dave Seaman, '2wo Butterflies' comes in four different forms. So there you have it. One producer, 2wo Butterflies, two remixes and more quality music than you should be legally allowed in a confined space. But then, what you get up to in your own time is your own business! Go forth my friends. Enjoy!
Oh yes, oh yes - Come and have a go if you think you're hard enough! The remixes of Dave's new single 'Gobbledygook' are finished and are already causing something of a commotion. We've sent them out to 50 top DJ's ahead of the release on June 16th and pretty much everyone loves either one or the other, if not both! We'd like to extend a huge thank you to both Jori Hulkkonen and Funkagenda for two superb jobs well done. Thank you. And if you don't believe our rather loud trumpet blowing, then see for yourself........ One of the best prog tracks of the year gets the remix treatement with Funkagenda and Jori Hulkkonnen called up to duty. Funk agenda’s rub is loaded with the original’s hooks with the ethnic chanting, strings and melody all coming to the fore in a bouncy take. Hulkkonnen meanwhile goes for a more gradual builder that has a heavenly breakdown and shifting bassline. Both do the original justice. Artist Feedback: Sander Kleinenberg- with his remix of Gobbledygook Funkagenda proves once again his versatility when it comes to making cutting edge big room records, pleasing the crowd and the heads.. let the summer begin Paul Harris - Funkagenda does it once again. Desyn Massielo - Excellent Jim Rivers - fantastic remixes of a great track.... Steve Parry - hulkkonen mix is wicked - full support Mark Knight - As you'd expect I'm loving my good friend MOS - Nice package!!! Both tracks works great but I guess Jori's Chris Fortier - Jori's mix best, but still think there is more room for something better Nick Warren - Jori's mix for me. Hernan Cattaneo - Good mixes but original is still the best. Smith & Selway - the funkagenda will rock the house! Lexicon Avenue - 2 very good remixes. Paul Thomas - Best thing Funkagenda has ever done, love it. Nic Fanciulli - Funkagenda is a really good mix, i can see this going off at festivals. bit massive for my club shows but will test at Global Gathering. Agoria - Great anthem, repulse mix is for me! Full support. Stel - Really really like the Jori Hulkonnen mix-utilizes the original elements well. Neil Quigley - Loving Jori's mix, full support! Pete Gooding - Good new track from Dave, both mixes work for me. Anthony Pappa - Funkagenda mix for me Nico Radio 1 - 2 nice remixes here. Jamie McHugh - The Jori Hulkonnen mix is wicked - full support from me.

Audio Therapy's head honcho Dave Seaman has been producing music for nearly 20 years. First it was under the Brothers In Rhythm and Brothers Love Dubs aliases with Steve Anderson and then Alan 'Loafer' Bremner. More recently, it was as Group Therapy with Chad Jackson and Stel. But now finally, he's succumbed to making a track under his own name, entitled 'Gobbledygook'. "I wanted to go back to the original way DJs made records", said Dave. "Like when we made 'Such A Good Feeling' and 'The Mighty Ming'. It was all based around samples rather than the soft synth and plug ins world we seem to live in today. I spent hours sourcing from the strangest of places. There's everything from Native American Indians and Bulgarian choirs to Argentinian dance troupes and exotic birds". The result is an eastern influenced techy tribal affair with nods to the old school but still with it's feet firmly on contemporary dancefloors. There's also a remix to follow which is more of a full on progressive stomper but still retaining the organic flavours of the original. "It'll make sense when you hear it" says Dave "Or not as the case may be!" The track is set for release on the 5th May. Go to the Therapy website for audio samples.
