My latest release, a collaboration with the very talented Josh Gabriel is now out and has been receiving some lovely warm reactions. Here’s some of the reviews…

And from datatransmission.co.uk…

Seaman and Gabriel team up in what is a winning meeting of musical minds of two progressive house heavyweights.

Seaman has always been a DJ with a keen ear for melody and big, building productions while Gabriel has moved into a more techno-influenced direction of late, as showcased on his excellent LP from last year Eight.

Heyaah gives us a fusion of these elements in a driving house track that is one of the standout records, of its kind, in recent memory. On the duo’s original they marry a restless groove with two huge hooks as an ethnic chant and organ-driven melody form a breakdown of gigantic proportions. This really does build like a beauty with a positive, tribal quality to it, that should mean it is met with collective delight on the dancefloor.

Texan Francis Preve does not let the side down either with his tougher, techier take on the original. Here the beats are beefed-up and the “Heyaah” chant falls in and out of the mix alongside mesmerising effects, as he keeps it bubbling away to boiling point.

This is the biggest release on Josh Gabriel’s label to date and definitely deserves your attention.
